Separation distance
indicates the minimum required separation distance between vehicles moving evenly after each other, in good weather and road conditions at the maximum allowed speed. The separation distance requirement has been met if the vehicle driver moving behind sees at least two marking points between his or her vehicle and the vehicle moving in front.
