Pedestrian crossing
means a part of a road that is designated for pedestrians to cross the carriageway, cycle track or tramway track and is marked with a relevant traffic control device and where drivers are required to give way to pedestrians. A pedestrian crossing is considered a regulated pedestrian crossing where the sequence of movement of the road users is determined by traffic light signals or Signals given by a traffic controller. Pedestrian crossings are unregulated in all other cases.
