Stop and give way

requires a driver to stop behind the stop line or, in the absence thereof, at the intersection behind the edge of the intersecting carriageway, and in other places level with the sign. A driver must give way to drivers on an intersecting road or, if the sign is accompanied by panel 834 “Direction of right of way traffic or priority road”, on a priority road or right-of-way road. At intersections where sign 222 has been placed at all roads a driver must give way to a driver approaching from or located on the right. In such case the driver has been warned by sign 132 “Intersection of roads of the same category”
